Yes, the recruitment's been really, really poor.
We can't get away from that.
It's been terrible this season.
But I just don't think it's easy to replace such a big player.
You're replacing a big player and a captain as well.
The only thing I'd say is they look very comfortable Celtic have bought themselves time essentially to not have to put the pressure on St Mirren and not have to rush things St Mirren have hardly been in Celtic's half as well so you need to remember that that they've absolutely had no threat on the Celtic goal at all yet so I think Celtic are very comfortable in the game at this moment in time
So that's a big job for Celtic.
They've got a lot to do over the summer.
And yes, it'll be interesting to see.
I don't think Callum McGregor, listen, he's not the best season, but I wouldn't write him off yet either.
I still think he's got a bit to go.
Yeah it was a nice play from Celtic, nice little ball in behind for Maeda to get on but he gets his angles all right, a really good save across to his right hand side and as you say that'll give him real confidence.
Listen, it's a lonely place for Ryan Mullin at this moment in time.
Hopefully the staff and the team are getting behind him because I've been there where you make a mistake in a high-profile game and you need to deal with it mentally, so...
I'm pretty sure he'll be getting supported because it's one of these things as a goalkeeper you make mistakes just on such a big occasion and so early in the game and then it goes all wrong that he has to go off injured as well so it's been a real disaster this afternoon for him.
It's a lonely place when you make a high-profile mistake, so you're hoping your teammates get round you, but you're right, listen, you would probably much prefer to be on the pitch to try and affect the game in a positive manner, but...
No, no.
I think the manager would try and get somebody in with a little bit of experience and it would be that emergency loan.
Because, as you see, they've got huge, huge games coming up.
Yeah, listen, I think certainly Ian Atchell's saying that he's fit, injury-free, I would presume, and that's what he's meaning.
