Mm-hmm.
Martin O'Neill sounds as if he's, as you mentioned, watching him in training and maybe doesn't think his fitness, his sharpness is completely there at the moment.
But I think he knows how important a player he's going to be for him between now and the end of the season.
So it'll be a whole management thing between Martin O'Neill and IΓ±Γ‘rritu.
a hugely missed opportunity because as you say if they get the top six obviously they've got into the top six if they get into a final which you then can go and win of course you can it just I feel as if it would have been perfect for their season they've had an excellent season but listen it certainly puts a little bit of a dampener on their season and Hugh's right how do they react to this because they've got five games they're obviously trying to push up the league as well so it'll be interesting to see how they go
Yeah and they do have plenty of height in their team St Mirren they can cause issues from set pieces It's all about the quality of the delivery though as Daz said if they can get a good ball into the box it'll cause Celtic problems defensively because you're right they've got a number of players that are very physical
Donnelly, again, it's obviously one from the training ground because he's hanging out on the 18-yard line and then it's just a floated ball into that sort of six-yard line.
But he's got all the pace and all the momentum going towards the goal.
Gets a really good header and it's a fantastic save.
I think it's just the pace and the distance that he has to react really quickly.
a foul because if he gives a foul he has to give a yellow card but it was just a a strange situation I thought the referee had a good game today actually he was very very quiet which is always a good thing they weren't talking about him too much so I felt as if he handled the game really well that was only that one incident but yeah listen for me the refereeing's not been great this season I think there's been some some strange decisions and some poor decisions but
This game's just incredible I think he's actually Gave handball Yeah You know that Wouldn't have counted Because it came off The elbow Of Killian Phillips But again It's just It's a player Closing a goalkeeper down And he's right in front Of his goal He's only on Six yards from his goal line He's tried to clear the ball And it comes off him He was very very fortunate there I think the Celtic Sporters at Hampden Will be saying Are you having a laugh?
Yeah, it's going to be an incredible story.
You can hear Neil Lennon getting emotional just speaking about it there.
But listen, yesterday that's a fantastic achievement for Neil Lennon and Dunfermline to get through to a final.
He mentions the teams that they've beat, that they've not just walked into this final, they've had a tough run.
Hibs and then Aberdeen and then obviously beating Falkirk yesterday in the semi-final just an incredible run an incredible story and it's going to be a fantastic occasion for all Dunfermline fans and I'm pretty sure Neil Lennon will be looking forward to it as well All we heard was Roger Hanna today telling us that Neil was taking or getting photographed with Celtic fans a Celtic legend in their eyes but remember on the 23rd of May his obligation
Loads of saves But they just didn't get a hold of the ball I think that header Will have given real belief To the St Mirren player Oh that's a sore one Yeah Yeah there's going to be The first booking of the game For Arne Engels Who shakes his head I don't know why he's shaking his head I really don't know why He's shaking his head That looked I looked a real sore one Yeah he's left one on Jacob Devaney I take it we've got VAR Yes Yes we have Kevin Clancy Yeah
Tierney had the chance there to throw a ball under the bar and it elected to go backwards and they've ended up back at their goalkeeper when they had the opportunity as you say to put the ball in the box again it's the players I think when you're on the pitch you understand the situation it's a young goalkeeper let's try and test them as much as we can because we all know if Celtic get the second goal then it's going to be really really tough for St Mirren to get through this tie and I'm just amazed that he didn't put the ball in the box there yeah
Does that make much of it?
