Why am I telling you that?
Now, assuming that Reuters is accurate, we can then reasonably assert that six grams of PETN is not enough to confidently kill someone, right?
They only killed 12 out of 3,000 people.
You can also confidently assess that they would have to use more if they wanted to guarantee more fatalities.
Right.
I mean, in that regard, I would say the operation was kind of a failure because it demonstrated without question their precision.
And it was psychologically damaging, no doubt.
But in terms of real world consequences, you don't want to just take off the fingers of your enemies.
That's that's only going to strengthen their resolve against you personally.
while they are still very much alive.
Anyway, it got me wondering, if six grams could take out fingers and eyes, how much PETN explosive would you need to guarantee a fatality?
What would that look like?
What would the size of that injury look like on a person?
And so I decided to research and see if there were maybe some random YouTube channels that were dedicated to demonstrating doubling that amount, maybe tripling that amount, and seeing what would happen.
And ladies and gentlemen, I am not kidding you.
When I say that this was the very first video that I stumbled across on YouTube, just typing in PETN explosive, and it was just guys that were using 20 grams of PETN explosive within a tiny capsule.
and they were using it against bulletproof glass to see what would happen.
And I want you to pay very close attention to what this person says, because I could not believe my ears.
I was freaking out.
Take a listen.
