the teacher-parent piece, because I think that's a really important piece of education, especially in the early years.
is making that strong connection between home and school.
And so maybe AI or technology can help with that piece.
And you do, you see a lot of apps where you can share photos and things like that.
But even when I think about it, when I go into classrooms, you see a lot of the teachers with the iPads and it's like, you're watching the children learn through a piece of technology and that's already like a disconnect.
So, yeah, I really do advocate for in early childhood having low tech, high connection and using technology in a way, for example, listen to a podcast.
That's a great way to use ed tech in a classroom.
A little bit.
As I mentioned, even taking the photos and having that iPad out, you're putting a screen between you and the child's experience.
Yes, you want to like take the photos so you can show the parents, but is that the most important thing?
Aren't you losing a
a little bit of human connection behind that.
Are you focusing on taking the photo or being present with the kid?
Like if you think about it, when we went to school, we just went off to school.
My parents had no idea what was going on.
They didn't request photos or minute by minute, you know, what everyone was doing.
And then leaving as parents, like how many newsletters, how many things can you read?
It's just like an over, it's too much.
Is it apparent or do you want them to be present with your child?
I would pick being present over taking a photo for like my benefit.
