And do you remember me asking you at the beginning, what kind of situations you have needed help in?

Can I put before you here, friends, this is a situation where you and I both need God's help every single day.

It's in this mind war.

We need him to open our minds to understand his scripture.

in my prayer for this episode.

I mentioned from the book of John, where we're told the Holy Spirit will be our counselor and he will guide us into all truth.

We need his help.

So friends, don't forget as you fight the mind war to ask the Holy Spirit to open your mind

to understand the scriptures, to open your mind to see Jesus for who he really is, to open your mind to the truth of what he has done for you through his death, his burial, his resurrection, and his perfect life.

Lord Jesus, teach us and remind us how to ask you to be the power that opens our minds, Lord.

Show us every day our need for it and remind us to ask.

Lord, you are faithful to be our teacher.

And I think our attitude of dependence on you in this way will help us as we fight this mind war and as we consider your truth in light of the lies we hear every day.

Help us, Lord, to listen to your voice and to obey in response.

We ask it in your holy name.

Amen.
