I was giving Lenny Hayes a bit of stick saying, you know, since he's been in the role, we haven't won a second half.
But he put that to rest on the weekend where they kicked 15-1 after halftime.
So dominant display, which is great to see.
I think there was a lot of effort being put in.
You know, perhaps we could have had a bit more reward for effort with a couple of games like with Collingwood and the Crows.
So, you know, those games that went either way but were just on the wrong side of it.
So I think it's coming together.
It takes a while when you have new players in to build that cohesion.
You have a few tweaks to the game style.
So I think it's starting to build.
There's some really positive signs.
Yeah, it has been a strange start.
We were really happy with having the opening round game and the time slot with Colling, which was just a huge start to the season and a record home and away crowd for the Saints.
So that was a fantastic way to start.
But yeah, then it's been a bit disjointed being at Adelaide for a couple of weeks.
playing some tough opposition and interstate opposition in the Alliance and the Eagles.
So it's been a bit of a funny start for us, a tough one in terms of last year's finalists.
But as we get through that now, we get perhaps a little bit of a better run before a little bit of a travel challenge mid-season.
But the vagaries of the draw, the fixture, you've got to cop it sometimes.
Yeah, I know.
