And I think it's when you see people do that in action, be able to communicate so people can make informed decisions.
It is okay for people to use their values and say, do you know what?
I'm happy to stay here.
I want to stay in this setting.
I can see that actually I might derive benefit, but it's my choice.
That's the real ethical dilemma here for me is being able to inform people so that they can feel comfortable about their choices.
I think that's an important point, Helen, about the shedding is there's a difference between activated and inactivated virus.
And I think what they're highlighting is that it takes some time to get rid of the whole virus out of your body.
It's a multi-system disease.
It's not just in the respiratory tract.
It's in your GI tract.
seems to get in all parts of your body, this virus.
And once you've killed it, there'll be bits that require shedding for quite some time.
So it doesn't surprise me.
The problem in the media is this is being picked up as the virus is still there.
You're still able to infect people.
And that's not the case.
So I think we should really need the next piece of evidence is to really dial down on this idea of activated shedding versus what I call inactivated shedding.
Well, beyond me, you're back to the science and away from the evidence.
It's a sort of this balance between a socialist model and a capitalist model of research.
