Kind of. It's really hard to explain because we always try and keep things adventurous as far as the bedroom goes. Sure. Okay. Like we've tried a lot of things, a lot of different places. And, you know, I figure that's the best way to keep things fresh and exciting and to make him happy.

Exactly. I don't know if I overstepped boundaries in a way because I, do you know what a set life is?
Exactly. I don't know if I overstepped boundaries in a way because I, do you know what a set life is?
No.
No.
Yeah, because I had an idea. I set up a three way because I thought that would be fun. And we had never tried anything like that before. And like, you know, I was like, yeah, we're going to totally enjoy this. And like we totally did. The girl that we brought in, her name is Madeline. She's one that we found on the site. And her energy is great. She made the whole thing super comfortable.

Bruce really seemed to take a liking to her. And since that first time, we've actually had Madeline back a few times.

And I trust I feel like I've said I trust Bruce. I do. But after the fourth time, I noticed that Bruce and her seem to have gotten real friendly.

Yeah, and I don't want this to be, like, every other story, like, oh, you know, like, complicated emotions and all that stuff. Like, it's not anything like that, I don't think. But lately, I guess, I think he might, he pulled away from me a little bit because I think he kind of might have a thing with Madeline. You know, I know they talk and they text sometimes.

And that's fine, but I see him, like, get texts.

I mean, that doesn't usually bother me, but him getting up and leaving the room after he gets them, that's new, and that's kind of bothering me. Did you ask him about it? I mean, I have... I caught him in a lie last week because I asked him where he was going, and he said he was going out with friends.

And then one of them texted me saying that he hasn't picked up his phone at all, and he was wondering if Bruce is on the way to meet them. I mean, I just think he's like... trying to pull thing, you know, pull the wool over my eyes. This is not going to, it's not going to work. And I, I don't want this to be like one of those three way horror stories, but I kind of can't shake the feeling.

I think like maybe instead of going to his quote friends, he went to go see Madeline.

Yeah, so me and Bruce were pretty adventurous people. We had a threesome. This girl, Madeline, she's great. I think she's wonderful. She's fun. But I believe that he might be texting Madeline behind my back and going to see her. He's pulling away a little bit, so I have a suspicion that something's happening.

In January of 2021, our 13-year-old son, Brett, was diagnosed with leukemia. And the day that he was diagnosed, we were told he might not make it through the night. Whoa. Yes, his white blood cell count was 865,000, which normal is between like 4,000 and 11,000. Whoa. So they basically described his blood being like sludge. So it was causing problems with every organ.

He spent 19 days in the pediatric ICU at Le Bonheur in Memphis. And then a week of that, he was in a coma. So at one point during that, they called family in to say goodbye, and the staff was just surprised. Every day, he just kept making it. And so we had thousands of people that were following. We had a Facebook page, Brave Like Brett, where people were going to check for updates.

And we had people praying for Brett from all over the United States and from over 40 countries. Wow. So after that first 19 days in the ICU, he was transferred over. It was just five minutes away, but it took that long to get him stable enough to be able to transfer to St. Jude, where he spent the next 300 days. And so when he got there, he couldn't hold his head up.

He could barely wiggle his toes. He couldn't remember what had happened 30 seconds before, which honestly at times was a blessing in that he couldn't remember some of those things going on. He just faced overwhelming odds over and over for the next, you know, 11 months while we were there. He had a brain bleed, had lost most of his vision. He had multiple relapses with his cancer.

And in August of that year, he received a bone marrow transplant, and his brother was the donor. His brother, Bond, was a 100% match. And so... That was a huge blessing. And we were able to go home in December of that year. So his doctors that were with him from the beginning, from the very beginning, called him a miracle.

And tears would roll down their face, you know, and they would see him coming back for follow-ups. They had never really even seen him walk, you know, at the time that they had had him. And so... Brett is currently, he's 17. He's three years post-transplant. We have moved to Nashville. He is legally blind now. Continues to have the short-term memory loss challenges.

Has some mobility deficits, but he's attending high school full-time. He's involved in church and best buddies at school. So he is currently cancer-free. Wow. This all happened during COVID, so we weren't allowed any visitors. So there were so many people, though, that were so generous during that time.

Hi, thank you so much for taking my call. You guys already changed our lives. So thanks for continuing to talk and support to us. But me and my husband are baby step millionaires, and right now we're about to have an excess of $5,000 to $7,000 per month, and we're trying to divide that between steps five, six, and seven.

So we have twin seven-year-olds and then we have a 12-year-old. Okay. And we're currently contributing to their 529s a total of 2K per month. Okay. And right now we have about 50K spread out amongst the three of them with much more in our 12-year-olds since he's going to need it sooner.

Yes. I mean, we do plan to continue putting in another thousand K per month into their account. But even with that, we're going to have an excess of five to seven. OK, perfect. A little back story. We've been remodeling our house and now we bought our dream house. We remodeled it. It's now the remodel is almost done and we've been cash flowing the remodel.
