It is done.
It is out there.
And the technology is only going to get better from here.
Okay, let's change directions because I feel like my radio show is becoming the AI show, which I'm fine with.
AI is some of the most interesting topics we can hit these days.
It's a lot of where interesting research is going on.
But let's go to a fun one here.
This is one of my favorite tech stories of the week.
We go to a Best Buy, okay, where an employee just went on the computer, typed a few things, and then got a MacBook, not for free, but somehow got a 99% off discount.
What the heck happened here?
And side note, maybe I should work at Best Buy.
And disclosure, I have shopped at this very Best Buy in West Palm Beach, Florida.
I might very well have bought a solid state drive from this guy.
So his name is Matthew Letera.
He'd been working there for four years.
He used his manager's code to heavily discount a whole bunch of items.
He started, you know, giving himself 99% discounts on a MacBook, but then he started doing it for his friends as well.
And then they would take those devices that they had bought at significant discounts and then sell them at local pawn shops.
Homeboy stole $120,000 of Apple products by just tweaking the discount code, buying it from the store he worked at, and then potentially reselling it all.
