Let's say allegedly.

He hasn't been convicted yet.

Right.

But of course, you know, once law enforcement management noticed that, you know, some numbers weren't adding up, contacted the police and they started staking out local pawn shops.

And you leave a data trail here.

And that's clearly the case in this case.

And they were ultimately able to tie this individual back to all of that merchandise that was pawned out in the community.

And so I think, you know, here I was thinking I was a genius for finding a five percent off coupon code online.

Well, you just have to know the right person who has the right code to enter it for you, and then you get a much bigger discount.

But, you know, retail is under pressure, right?

We know that full well.

You know, the economy is not doing so well.

Retail theft is going up.

Retail theft involving insider kind of perpetrators is also going up.

And, you know, it's harder to get a job and those who have their jobs aren't keeping them.

So there's a lot of turnover in environments like Best Buy or other areas of technology retail.

And so this kind of thing, unfortunately, this is just one example, but it's happening everywhere.

And this guy got caught.

I'm willing to bet lots of other people haven't yet.
