Now nobody bats an eyelash.
And so that's like, no one really cares.
That's the norm.
And so the fear is, is that once we move this into AI territory, that's kind of scary.
having an AI girlfriend will turn into like smoking on an airplane 40 years ago that was a completely normal thing to do but if I pull out and light a cigarette on an airplane today I would say that'd be slightly odd you know people would maybe get a little upset about that
Only a little, yeah.
But I'm just saying, like, are we at a point, we're at an inflection point where this technology's in 10 years, it's either going to be completely normal or it's going to be completely odd and it's going to be a blip in history.
I think it's going to be completely normal and that's what worries me.
Yeah, I remember, it was 2013 when the movie Her with Scarlett Johansson and Joaquin Phoenix came out.
Yeah, yeah.
How short, 13 years ago this movie came out.
It was basically like telling the future.
It's not so, it was so odd at the time.
Now it's normal.
I remember being creeped out by it at the time, but also being comforted by the fact that I knew that the technology wasn't where it needed to be.
So it was strictly a work of fiction.
But of course, technology has now caught up with that.
And we now have the power to have these things deployed in the real world.
And we're seeing those examples of it.
It's only going to get more powerful, more capable.
