So you got to show up ready to compete, ready to just get after it.

And so it's been good this year.

But I would say a large part of that's the comfort level of just having that year of experience underneath my belt.

Um, now it's me.

It hasn't always been me.

Um, I, uh, I really kind of found the stroke in my fifth year at East Carolina where I was playing with Trey.

Um, and that was kind of where it took off there.

And I understood that, Hey, I have a shot at, at doing this for, uh, uh,

like full time um and now just having uh conversations with the hitting department with the blue jays um it's so much fun when they're just like hey go go do damage and i'm like okay like i'm gonna go out there and uh and try to get my swing off so it's it's been a lot of fun this year

Yeah, I think a good example of that last year was like, I didn't feel like last year for me was an up and down year.

I had some I had some bright moments for sure.

And then at the end of the season, they were like, you were 98th percentile and this and that and this and I'm like, it didn't feel like it, but they were pleased with it.

So yeah.

um so i think that's that that helps definitely encourages you know just to keep going uh keep doing what i'm doing but yeah for me i'm i'm i'm just big on like if you play uh the situation will dictate what you have to do right so if there's you know a runner on second with nobody out and you want to move them over as a lefty you're just trying to pull the ball and sometimes you pull the ball and it goes over the fence like it's uh the situation will dictate what you do and um

I think that helps.

It's kind of like a large part of my game is just understanding what needs to be done in order to help the team win right now.

And when you do that, good things will happen.

Your stats are going to be there at the end of the year.

So I don't look too much into the numbers, but you try to win the baseball game and good things will happen.

Yeah, that's another huge... I guess the other adjustment from last season to this season is kind of exactly that.
