I mean, I think really the, the, the big key is to, um, you know, for Davis, um,
remembering when he gets back here, like how he got to where he was, and that was by swinging the bat and getting pitches that he could hit to drive.
And I think, you know, getting back to that and just kind of getting a little bit of a reset always helps him get locked back in.
I think it helps him a lot last year getting back and getting at bats, like multiple at bats day after day, you know, in the lineup.
You know, that gives you and builds your confidence back up and,
You know, you're just seeing pitches every day, so it helps that way.
And then it gets you, you know, prepared for when you go back to, you know, get back at the major league level to be successful and do the things that he needs to do.
I mean, it largely has to do with, you know, if you get into a little funk as a hitter and, you know, you're trying too hard and then it just steamrolls and gets out of control, and then if you're β
you know, you're playing, you know, sparingly, then it's kind of hard to get back locked in.
But he does a good job of coming down here and doing what he needs to do and getting himself prepared to get back to the big leagues.
Yeah, just maintain, you know, what you're doing and your work and everything that you need to do to be ready to get back into the lineup.
I mean, and a lot of times, you know, the major league guys are β
playing, you know, a few innings.
And so it gives the guy that's playing every day an opportunity to come off the bench and kind of get what that's like because they don't get to do that a lot.
And, you know, sometimes when they go to the big leagues, that's what they're going to be doing.
So it gives them an opportunity to do something different.
And then a lot of times the guys that are, you know, getting at bats, they'll play a position one day and then maybe DH one day.
And so that gets them back in the lineup.
So you do have to β
You know, you do have to kind of sit out a little bit if you're an everyday player in AAA when those guys come back.
