Do I say yes or do I honor my capacity right now?
Do I avoid or do I lean into something meaningful?
And again, it's not about getting it right all of the time.
No one's going to do that.
But over time, these small choices shape the direction of our lives.
So I think this is a really important exercise for all of us to do, especially in midlife.
But like I said, across different points of our life.
And I want to be realistic.
Reflecting on your values isn't a magic solution.
It won't instantly remove any feelings of being stuck or uncertain, but I think it offers something really valuable.
It offers that sense of direction, a way to make more intentional choices.
And I think it offers a feeling of coming back to yourself, to your core, to who you really are.
So as we close, I invite you to take a slow breath in and just allow yourself a moment of stillness.
Your values aren't something you need to search far and wide for.
Often you already know what they are but you may not have reflected on them for a while.
So our values are there in the moments that feel meaningful, in what brings a sense of aliveness, in what you're naturally drawn to,
And I think living a good life, it isn't about doing more or becoming someone different.
I think it's about gently aligning your days with what matters most to you.
One small step, one small choice.
in the direction that is most meaningful for you.
