Well, let's set up the story for people without, of course, any spoilers.
As you say, it begins on this battlefield where there's just been an absolute massacre between the forces of these different kingdoms and the Firemane kingdom has been defeated.
Very soon we see the entire Firemane royal family slaughtered on a gallows by the troops and no one's really happy about it.
Everyone's sort of being cold.
Yeah.
Yeah, and there's goodies on the battlefield who've had to be part of this.
So there's a lot of tension.
But a baby is slipped into a tent and whisked away.
And this is the last remaining, we think, child of the Firemane dynasty.
And his name's Hartu.
Is that how you read that?
Look, I always guess with these things.
But yes, Hartu, I would say.
Hartu Shuley Firemane is his full name.
