So, fantasy fiction fan, lifelong habit?

Yeah, look, I've got to confess, I'm a bit of a fan too.

And I came across Magician in a funny way.

I used to do this thing where, you know, I'd ask somebody, what's your favourite book?

And then go and read it.

And my squash coach, back when I played squash for about two years, this was his favourite book.

So I went and read it and I was a sucker for Magician.

Yeah, amazing.

So that world is so excited about this brand new series which begins.

We're told it's a trilogy, but I'm not sure that...

And George is stuck, can't finish his series.

Apparently when he turns up at conferences and things, people say, go away, go and finish writing.

All right.

Well, let's get to the world of Garn, which, of course, like any fantasy novel, we have to have a map at the beginning of the book.

That's compulsory.

So we can get our geography of this fantasy land.

It is a little like Westeros, actually, in Game of Thrones.
