I'm quite intrigued by that first sentence.

But yeah, there's this mud brick tower in the very first sentence before the bomb goes off in which Adam Griffiths is injured.

What do you think Rodney Hall's doing there?

Is it some kind of idea about, I don't know, apotheosis?

But when we say work harder, I don't think we mean that in terms of the language.

It's actually a very readable book.

And I really can see why people love his writing style in this.

Very short sentences.

I mean, I just say to any old page, scissoring to the window is a sentence.
