You know, everybody's got a choice with what they do with their life.

But I feel as if, yes, some of the things that when I was in my 20s and 30s, some of the things we argued for and felt that we'd won, that's going backwards.

So, for example, as we've touched on before, in the online space,

I think all women are asking for is to feel as safe in the online space as they are in the real world.

And, you know, if you look at the rape figures, you know, there are some improvements being made in certain police forces.

But, you know, there are parts of the country where people, MPs have said, and I think it's true, that rape is effectively decriminalised.

And that is shocking in this day and age.

And, you know, I've had my own experience of dealing with offences going to the police and the sort of length of time and the effort you have to put in as a victim of abuse.

And when I did, I saw Kate Adie standing in a flak jacket reporting from a war zone.

And I genuinely didn't realise that those kind of jobs were open to women.

So, you know, those kind of really tough TV jobs.

So, yeah, you've got to see the change, haven't you?

yeah yeah I thought about I I loved playing the violin and so I thought about being a violin teacher both my parents were teachers and I remember one of one of their friends who was also a teacher said to me oh it's a dog's life being a teacher so anyway then I thought about being a lawyer um and then I just I it was seeing Kate Adie that sort of changed my mind have you had the opportunity in your career to
