I laugh at the combine.
I laugh at how we judge guys on how they look when, as I said, the greatest winning quarterback we've ever seen looks like a hot mess at his combine.
Yeah, but a lot of guys that do get drafted in the first round do actually have great combine numbers, and they go on to have great careers.
But it's not the end-all, be-all.
And there's also a lot of guys that look like they're chiseled out of rock and they can't play at the NFL level.

I mean, there are a lot of examples that there's more failure than success just simply because you're dealing with human beings and you're dealing with the uncertainties of the game itself.

and they both started well.
I would have to say the steroid aspect of it, if I had to guess, had a very negative impact on who they became as players.
Physically.
Yeah, and they tended to get injured, and they were slow, and they ended up being stiff.
You know, that kind of thing.
Flexibility is a big thing when they're talking about these players, especially edge rushers.
Because if you ever watch the great Bruce Smith or Lawrence Taylor, Miles Garrett in this current iteration of the edge rusher, when they go around the corner, their inside shoulder is about two inches off the ground.
