So they believe, yeah, she was abducted somewhere between late Saturday night and Sunday morning.

So I saw this news and I just thought immediately there's just no way this is not a targeted attack because people just don't take 84-year-olds, you know?

That's not really how that works.

Kidnapping is already so rare of children, let alone of senior citizens.

So it's clearly a targeted attack and TMZ has now reported that a ransom note has been delivered.

to tmz and so they haven't verified it i don't really know how you verify a ransom note to be honest but they said that some of the information in the ransom note could only be known by the intruder so that literally i got that push alert 10 minutes ago this whole story is so fishy to me specifically because okay

Let's just say you're going to target someone, right?

And you're going to kidnap someone for money.

Savannah Guthrie does not strike me as like, I don't know, completely rolling in the dough.

Like you would think you would maybe target someone who was more visibly just like hugely wealthy.

Someone's, you know, like this would make more sense if it was Kris Jenner's mom than Savannah Guthrie's.

That's why this is so weird.
