Even a show like Daredevil, and this is not a critique of the boys.

This is just kind of me talking about this entire world and how that world exists in the current world that we're living in.

Like, watching all of this stuff, this stuff is sometimes triggering, man.

Like, this stuff is sometimes not easy to digest.

And whereas before, it was a wink and a nod that you watched it with.

You watched it while you were winking.

Well, now you're watching it...

your eyes are doing something else with tears, like emotional and cultural tears.

And I don't think that these shows, they were always, they were easy to watch because they were so absurd.

I don't think they're that way anymore.

I think some people now are like, yo man, I need a break from some of this.

Homelander doesn't seem so bad anymore.

I mean, he's pretty bad.

Listen, he seems terrible, but it's kind of like par for the course.

I'm not talking even about that.

I'm talking about the fact that every fucking thing that they have said is going to happen.

Right.

Has happened.

I'm legitimately talking about the fact that when you look at the writers of this show, they are culturally examining our current world and saying, this is the most absurd thing that could go on.

Then the shit goes down.
