Well, no, I think that there's been some satellite photographs from back there.
So, uh, we, I think we have a, a pretty good idea of what most of it looks like, but, uh, I'm, I can't answer that specifically.
I know that an Apollo, the maximum altitude we were on the backside was about 170 miles above it.
So you just saw a fan sliver of the backside.
And now, uh, from that distance, 6,000 miles ago, have the whole of the backside, uh, visible.
And, uh, but I think the sun angle is going to be, uh, such, it's going to be from earth.
It's going to be about a half moon.
So you'll see about half the backside in sunlight and the rest in sort of dark shadow or dark.
So we'll see how it all looks.
They're going to be on their way soon, and that's going to be a pretty spectacular event.
The only trouble is they're not going into orbit.
They're just going to swing back 6,000 miles and come back.
It's got to be terrible.
It would be a very frustrating thing.
We were in orbit, and an hour before we landed,
Mattingly and the other spacecraft reported a major problem, which caused them to abort.
And you can imagine the disappointment one hour before we would land on the moon and they, and they're going to tell us to come home.
Fortunately, mission control saved the day and it took them seven hours to get us, uh, back to landing.
Uh, but, uh, they did it.
And, uh, I, you know, I, I, I'm a great, uh,
