Well, so we were writing on the...

topic of people analytics, which was completely new to this market at that time.

And a very small number of people locally were aware of this.

And everyone was curious, but they had no idea what the topic area was.

So when we searched up on meetup.com to see if there was any kind of HR analytics meetup or any

And any kind of community that was around this space, we didn't find any.

So we decided to start one and start using Forbes as a credibility device to rally people around that community.

So we went from something like zero to 700 members in that community in less than six months.

It's a person on meetup.com who signs up to join the community.

So Meetup was the platform.

I can still remember.

We set up the community and then decided that by hell or high water, whatever the hell happens, we're going to launch our first meetup in 30 days.

And so we expected like eight people to show up.

We thought we would just buy free beer for everyone.

We actually had more than 40 people.

No.

It was the other way around.

We shared the articles from Forbes on meetup.com.
