I spent my entire teenage years hating myself and hating my mind and hating my body, doing anything I could to just get a tiny little sprinkle.
of fitting in, of being like everyone else.
And I look back at that and I hate that I felt the need to do that.
And that's why I'm so passionate about making sure that
Kids don't have to go through that same thing that I did because it sucks.
And because being different is also – it's hard.
And I'm never going to sit here and say, you know, that being different is awesome all the time and that it's a superpower and stuff.
But being different is the most magical thing you can be.
If you've been blessed to have a different mind, use it.
Find what your capacities are.
Find what your capabilities are and run with it.
I owe a lot of it to my parents.
My parents never tried to make me someone that I wasn't.
I've always sucked at math.
I, like, still can't read a clock.
I can't cook.
I struggle a lot with really basic math.
looking after my self-tasks but I am a really good writer and I'm a really good horse rider and I'm a really good actor and I'm really creative and so my parents went instead of using this money for a tutor for math and to try to make her slightly more subpar at things that she's really shit at
Let's put that money into acting classes.
Let's put that money into horse riding lessons.
