Vice President Vance says talks with Iran have ended after 21 hours without reaching an agreement.

The vice president says the U.S.

was flexible with Iran during the talks, but he says Iran is still not giving up its nuclear ambitions.

Iran's state-run news agency said the talks began after Iranian preconditions, including a reduction in Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon, were met.

Two Pakistani officials who spoke on condition of anonymity say that discussions between the heads of the delegations will resume after a break.
