And that's the only clean way of doing it.

The other way is just a mess with procedures, rules and regulations that only these political parties, particularly Labour, can come up with.

And it's another example of the extremely poor governance system that we have here in the UK.

It's a particular example of a system writ large that is no longer fit for purpose.

The voting system, the parliamentary system, parliament itself, the building.

emblematic of all of this.

The building is falling down.

It should have been condemned years ago.

It's rat infested.

It's probably got asbestos all over the place.

It leaks.

It's right there on the Thames.

It's a

literally billions to refurbish.

They can't bring themselves to have a vote to refurbish it because they know what everybody will say.

So it just stands there crumbling around them, bits literally falling onto MPs heads as they walk around the place.

I think that's emblematic, symptomatic of the wider malaise affecting the British body politic.

This good chap theory of government that we've got just simply doesn't work.

It needs to be torn up.

I'm fast becoming an anarchist, Jim, or a revolutionary of some kind, thinking that whichever way you look at it, all the Tory prime ministers that we've had since 2010, now we're going to get another Labour prime minister sooner or later because Starmer is a dead man walking.
