Well, I don't think that's ever going to see the light of day in any criminal case because that would be kind of character evidence.
It's character evidence because they would be trying to show.
Yeah.
to try to establish that he acted in conformity with that alleged prior incident with this current incident.
No way that's getting in.
See Harvey Weinstein case where that was reversed, where they had uncharged women.
I think that's it, because the other ground for permissive withdrawal, and Alan needed permission of the court or his client to get out, he can't just quit, would be the client made it unreasonably difficult to provide representation.
I really doubt that that's it.
This is the most high-profile criminal case out there, and Alan attached himself to it quickly.
I don't think he would want to leave that.
other than not getting paid.
And this was a question that I had at the beginning is who was funding this very expensive defense and also who allowed access to Alan Jackson and his team.
Almost immediately after the forensic team for the police left, Alan Jackson just got access to that house.
Who allowed that access?
And so it seemed like somebody in the family or maybe a trustee was providing funding and access to the home.
And then maybe there's a change of heart or really coming to their senses.
Like, why are we helping this guy who just killed our parents?
Absolutely.
And, you know, Los Angeles, the criminal courts building has some of the most experienced public defenders out there.
And these are people who have dedicated their lives.
