You know, those are things that I think he can do even at that level.
You know, how does he, you know, thrive or not with top players?
You know, and we'll have to see what his role looks like.
You know, younger guys, it can be tough.
You know, Porter Martone really didn't get into much game action until late in the tournament last year.
And, you know,
But I think that this is a valuable experience for Gavin, regardless of how he plays, because it's being around the pros and being around, seeing how guys carry themselves, seeing the level that it takes to be a top player.
And I think, you know, there's going to be enough talent on this Canadian team where you can kind of insulate him well, put him with some good players, put him in some positions to succeed.
And then, you know, I think that that's what we'd want to see.
It's just, you know,
I don't need him.
You know, one of the knocks on him is that he can be a little bit too perimeter.
You know, I don't necessarily need to see him dive bombing into the middle of the ice against pros.
You know, like it's not really.
Let's go for it.
That's not going to change my opinion of the player, right?
You know, so it's really, you know, I want to see where things go.
And there's definitely more that he needs to work on.
But I think for him, it's playing his identity, fitting into whatever role they put him into, you know, being mature and making some plays out there because he's certainly capable of that.
