But police others as you would have them police unto you as a department motto? What does that mean? What does that mean in the case of a child murderer? Like... You know, that's not... That doesn't make sense. I'm not pleased. Thomas hates so much hate, and it's not fair.

Well, somebody did... I may be... This may be... I will put it out there that I have not gone and confirmed this myself, but I did see screenshots of what appeared to be real tweets from Eric Craddock, the former deputy sheriff who is now the sheriff after the former sheriff died suddenly. Oh, fun. Yeah, a few months ago.

Craddock, I can't remember the exact terminology, but suffice to say he downplayed child sexual abuse. Oh. Yeah, in a tweet. Now, again, it could be that that is a fake tweet. I did not look too deeply into it. It looked like a real tweet. If you want to go look for it, feel free. I...

I'm going to try and find it and get to the bottom of it when we eventually do do a real... When there's more updates to give. Because I wasn't going to make a full update video, clickbait it, and be like, Hey, there's so much new information. And it's like three or four things. But as time goes on, I'm sure there will be opportunities to make significant updates to the case. Again, my goal is...

I'm a historian. I don't like to cover active cases. I like to cover cases that are historical at this point, which is why I like JonBenet. Also because that one's just such a pain in the ass. But yeah, I think this one to me feels like a sheriff's department issue, not a DA issue. Now granted, in a county as small as that, Is there necessarily much of a difference? I don't know.

But if what Nina said is true, because maybe she just got confused thinking back, you know, like that it was the Sumner County Sheriff's Office and she was actually, you know, at the Henderson PD. The way she presented things, it seemed that the police were very friendly to the Proudfoots. And interestingly, this is the part that really gets me.

When Sebastian was reported missing, they did not call 911. They called the sheriff's office directly.

They called central dispatch.
They called central dispatch.
Which is not... You don't have to. I mean, if we call the non-emergency line here in Phoenixville, it takes us to Chester County, Central Dispatch. That's the non-emergency line? The reason you call the non-emergency line instead of 911 in a literal emergency is because you want the right person coming to your house. You want to make sure the right people are responsible. Um...

which to me suggests that they had friends at the sheriff's department. Yep. Otherwise you'd call 911. You just, you just would like, they're like, Oh, you know, out in the rural areas where we are, you were like 10 minutes from Hendersonville, dude, you're not far. The cops who responded were Hendersonville cops.
