And I don't know if it's like...
you know, leaning on him in an aggressive manner.
But, you know, I always took the approach of like, Hey, you know, we're going to see this guy at some point down the line here, like,
kill him with kindness, you know, and I think that's kind of how Martin, I mean, you don't really see Marty lay into these guys and typically he doesn't speak publicly about it.
So, you know, personally, that's the approach that I think makes a lot of sense.
But, you know, again, emotions are running high at this time of the year.
And, you know, some of the calls in the last game, I mean,
Are they 50-50 calls?
Probably, but don't put yourself in that position, right?
You give the ref an opportunity to make a call, he's going to make the call.
And then there was a handful of them that were, you know, for sure penalties.
So it's, you know, you get behind that thing, you're in a tough spot.
You know, I mean, you've, you played the game a long time.
Like you just could see it, right?
Like it's like they make it a one goal game and then they pan over to the bench and the guys, it's like they saw a ghost and you, you know, you could just, you could feel it coming.
And I think we've all been in that position where you're sitting on the bench or you just get scored on and guys are just kind of looking around and nobody has the answer.
That's exactly what happened.
And then you pair that with Nathan McKinnon, Kale McCarr, you know, generational talents like it's it's not going to go your way.
So was I surprised?
