Like, I've been friends with him for seven years now and I've been a fan of him

maybe for even longer.

And he's just so great.

He's a lovely guy behind the scenes.

I genuinely like him.

He understands theology and religion and scripture often better than the people that he's sitting opposite, which is crazy, as opposed to kind of just steaming in with, well, this is irrational and that couldn't happen and here's some science.

He sort of steps onto the field of play of people who are believers and then has a conversation with them inside of their domain.

It does not surprise me at all that he's kind of the center of this conversation around religion.

Also, his pivot from atheism to agnostic, I think, is really great because it makes it sound less adversarial.

fighting and cantankerous like we know that this is the way to do it and i worry well you read that i say you will find if i if i open up your twitter on the 23rd of april 2026 that you say oh my god dude like can we not just have a fucking can we not just have a conversation that's relatively cordial where both people are trying to find some form of truth and agreement and

and understanding about somebody else's perspective.
