underlying emotion is swept away by a much bigger emotion sure which is the dopamine the serotonin the adrenaline all that stuff but I do think certainly in the music industry on that ascendancy thing people can hide
the emotions that they should be paying a lot of attention to with the energy and the adoration.
I mean, I'm on tour at the moment.
I played the Cannery in Nashville this week and I was in, I did Boston, Chicago, Nashville, back to back to back.
So three shows, three states, three days this week.
And something that happens at the first show
by the third show, you can't even remember that it's happened.
You're like, where the... I accidentally called... Oh, no!
I accidentally called Nashville... Sorry, I called Chicago, L.A., way deep into the show, and said it was a Monday, and then said it was a Saturday, and it wasn't.
It was a Friday.
And I'm like...
I have a friend whose hack for that is whenever he meets anybody, this is a bit of a cheap trick, but whenever he meets anybody, he says, have we met before?
And if you haven't, they go, no.
And he's like, I swear, I must have got you mixed up.
That's really good.
But for him to do it the other way, because I guess if you're deeper into your touring career and you're like, you know, maybe 50% or 25% of the people you have met, they're like, oh.
Oh my God.
Yeah, I know.
It is a cheap friend.
