As a Yankee fan, why would you want to do that?

have question marks going into the trade deadline where you need to go out there and make trades.

Because guess what, guys?

With a third wild card, everybody thinks they're in it.

I mean, we looked at it last year.

Realistically, out of 30 teams in Major League Baseball, five were legitimately out of a playoff race.

So you want to enter that pool?

Where you have one of the great advantages in baseball where you're the Yankees and you have money to go out and spend and you only have to really compete with the Mets or Dodgers on that level?

And the Mets or Dodgers are not really in on the guy that you want in Cody Bellinger?

Because like I said, people got twisted when they said, oh, Kyle Schwarber's older.
