Back in 2018, maybe, in what I now recognise was an act of reckless optimism, I gave you a copy of my favourite ever Anne Patchett novel, The Patron Saint of Liars.

Now, I was just wondering if it has, A, ever been read, B,

become part of a load-bearing structure somewhere in your house, or C, being deliberately retained but never read as a highly effective way to torture me for the rest of our lives by you never reading it, even though you know that I know that you will love it.
