If anything, he campaigned exactly against this.

So I'm not going to, let's not pretend that a good outcome here isn't fantastic for the world and for the region.
The question is whether it's as easy as it looks.

It is one thing to do this from the air.
But as we learned, what looks easy, toppling Saddam Hussein was easy.
Rebuilding Iraq was hard.
Toppling Khomeini may be easy.
Rebuilding Iran, a country much bigger than Iraq, is not going to be easy.
It's going to be quite difficult.
Obviously, we know that there are plenty of Iranians that want their country back.
We know this is an oppressive regime.
