I had a few things that I did over the weekend that I want to tell you more about, and I'm going to save it for Wednesday's episode, including a fascinating debate that I moderated between Chris Christie and David French about sports gambling.
We actually came up with a potential compromise.
I will share with you on Wednesday.

And on Friday at the Illinois Local News Summit, I moderated a panel of what I referred to as the venture capitalists of local news, the philanthropic organizations that have been trying to fill the gap here.
John Palfrey, who's president of MacArthur Foundation.
Maribel Perez-Wadsworth, who's president and CEO of the Knight Foundation.
And Julie Morita, who's president and CEO of the Joyce Foundation, which is a little bit more regional in the Chicago area for the Great Lakes region.
But all of them have been investing in trying to help local new startups get off the ground.
Yeah, I call them VCs because they really are, except they're not trying to – they don't try to get their money back once they give the money.
But they are trying to be smart about putting money in places that can be used to grow an organization that can eventually be self-sustaining.
And that is, I think, the real challenge there.
