And for whatever reason, Jane Harmon didn't take off.
Sam Nunn was always the one Democrat alive that he wanted to vote for next before he passed away.
You know, I mean, I think Harmon and Chucky beat each other up and it cleared the path for Davis a little bit.
So you cannot do that anymore in the Senate.
But I do think this, I think the most likely new thing that has happened here is no matter that we are likely to have two unpopular figures running for governor by November.
Because in some ways, maybe it's our partisan media, right?
We have a very, there's robust liberal media, there's robust conservative media, there's robust MAGA media, there's robust influencer media, whatever you want to call it these days, right?
Steve Hilton and whoever the Democrat is, my guess is they'll both be underwater, just like Gray Davis, Bill Simon, 2002.
And it's all different.
And if Governor Kemp asked me, could he get anything done in the Senate?
I'd tell him you can't.
And whoever becomes governor is just swimming uphill.
Unless you become a leader and, you know, especially it's really miserable being in the Senate when your party's in the White House because you cannot ever criticize your party.
And it's so easy to put a recall initiative on there.
And if things are south, it's one of those things that will only sort of reinforce the likely weakness of whoever wins.
Even if you really want to, you become a heretic.
Ask Joe Manchin or ask Lisa Murkowski.
But the other unintended consequence to this debacle could be
