Other government regulatory things.
So it's, you know, look, do I think there could be different ways to manufacture the network news?
I do.
So whether that is perceived as leaning right or left shouldn't be the point.
I think it is more, are you, what are you trying to do with your news division?
And who are you trying to appeal to?
And are you trying to be a news division that still does news gathering?
Or are you trying to be a news division that wants to shape the public debate?
So basically, you know, I think when you look at MS Now, Fox News Channel, and even CNN,
I think that their editorial focus is about shaping the conversation rather than informing the conversation.
I think that in theory, the broadcast networks were simply quote unquote news gathering, right?
And that's why the biggest chunk of money
that MS now had to start spending new money on was news gathering because NBC did all the news gathering for MSNBC.
MSNBC was just essentially, you know, was always piggybacking off of NBC's news gathering operation.
And what is a news gathering operation?
It's literally the wire services or the bureaus that you put together or the databases that you get your information from.
The reporters that you employ to go out and find stories, et cetera.
And I guess that I guess I I'm so dumb.
I'm I already see that I've already moved on from CBS, ABC and NBC.
Like, I don't think the construction of the broadcast news networks, I think they're dead.
