I have a small, odd story that goes with this, where the day that your father announced that he was resigning was a Sunday morning.

I remember it quite well because I had Nancy Pelosi on Meet the Press.

The report had gotten out.

She did not know this yet.

Well, I found or at least she claimed she didn't.

I don't quite know.

And it really created quite the weird.

Put it this way.

She never would sit down with an interview with me again over the circumstances of it because she was upset that she was supposed to be on to talk about one thing.

This happened.

And of course, it's breaking news.

Um, and you know, she didn't like, you know, the news business can be inconvenient to politicians.
