What's โ watching it sort of Detroit sort of turn around,
Is it one thing or is it just a reminder?
It sometimes just takes a series of little things in time.
I mean, what would you say the recipe turned out to be?
You noted Dan Gilbert and the Illich's.
And it is every community turnaround story.
is usually, you know, a piece of it is basically the local rich people finally decided to invest.
And I say this, no disrespect, you know, whatever.
The people that had, you know, made their money in that city or made their money in businesses in that city.
And the cities that are struggling usually don't have people willing to invest.
You know, what does it take to get folks like the Dan Gilberts and the Illich's to invest it?
Why did they do it?
And what is it scalable?
You know, is there lessons here for those in St.
Louis that want to see, want to try to create a Detroit-like story?
You know, it's it's interesting, I think.
Detroit was Silicon Valley before Silicon Valley.
I always like to tell people that Detroit in the 40s and 50s and 60s was a magnet for young people who wanted to be in the auto industry or wanted to be in the cutting edge of technology.
All the cool stuff was happening in Detroit.
