So that's bizarre.
But the most incredibly bizarre part of this story is who discovered the bodies?
Burglars.
They break into this house, hoping to take things in an isolated rural farmhouse.
And they come upon the bodies.
And they're well-known criminals, we understand.
They're career criminals in the area.
And they take a very unusual step.
What was that?
As you said, there's a documentary about this.
There is an attempt to come to some answers because there's a lot of questions about this.
And I suppose I want to know more about Julia Holmes now.
I think I would love to speak to some of her victims and it's very difficult to get people like that to come forward.
But the documentary that you mentioned, they did speak to an FBI agent.
What was that agent's assessment of Holmes?
And she just ran out of options in the end.
She just had to stop running.
A so-called suicide pact.
Clearly it would be rare for two people to decide to take their own lives completely in agreement with each other with the same degree of motivation at the exact same time.
And often when you hear about these cases, it is often the case we hear about murder-suicide, you get the impression that it's the male party who has put pressure on the female in the relationship to end her own life as part of this suicide pact.
