He kind of came across a bit of an asshole, if I'm honest, but when I actually met him, he was really sweet and, yeah.

very caring and just a real softie.

So from that message, we then planned to meet up at a gig together.

for an international band.

He was filling in for another band that night.

So we had planned to catch up after that.

And once he played, I think we shared a jug of beer or something.

And then we went to a local dive bar and the chemistry was just through the roof.

I remember sitting at a table at this dive bar and they have bowls of peanuts and pints of beer.

And he just leaned in at some point and, yeah, just started kissing me.

And then I think it was sort of like, all right, time to go.

And we went back to his house and had a pretty wild night.

And, yeah, it was a very immediate connection.

And from that moment on, we were just really like side by side.

We very much like started dating after that night.

It was a lot of fun.

We would spend a lot of money on like hotel rooms just so we could go somewhere bougie and yeah, have a little staycation.

That was always our favourite thing to do.

And because we were both living at our parents' homes at the time, it was just way more fun doing that.

But we would go to a lot of gigs.
