Yeah.
While she's living in New York, working at Vogue, she is homesick for California, though.
She would work all day at Vogue, and then she would come home to her almost empty apartment with a portable typewriter perched on a chair.
And so she began writing a novel about the California rivers she missed so much.

Well, you know, I clocked that thesis and I'm going to have that as a song for the carousel.
I was hoping.
She starts writing this, her first novel, which is Run River.
And she, this is for my writer girlies test.
She didn't really have a clear way of writing.
She would just write out parts and sections and then she would pin it to her walls and
And that's the way her novel came together.
So you have an empty apartment with just like a portable typewriter and just like parts of a novel all over the wall.
