For example, for me, as a male, I just had a prostate cancer operation.
Well, managing my health meant that eight, 10 years ago, I found out that I had a higher PSA.
So my thing was that, I don't know if I want to be bothered with this, but what I did was I did that, what's that?
I didn't want to get an operation, but the only way that I was going to escape that was that my numbers didn't get so high that I had to make a decision.
And so what happens for me in managing my health was when I go to the doctor, I say, okay, give me the PSA thing, because I know
that it's a possibility that I had to take some kind of action.
So managing my health was, I became aware that as a male, I do have the possibility of prostate cancer.
I had to watch for that.
And then I had to make a decision.
I had to make a decision that I was going to do it.
The same thing with being pre-diabetic.
I had to figure out whether or not I was going to listen to anybody.
You know, and then, you know, whenever I went to the doctor, I said, okay, well check that, check that diabetes thing.
So if it's not too bad, then I can eat more, more sugar.
