Like, I'm entitled to my annual leave.
Let's read some of these comments.
In this economy, I would not recommend just quitting.
By just quitting, you lose unemployment.
Unless you spend 10k on a trip, I think twice about quitting.
I know people who quit over silly reasons like this and ended up being without employment for 3-15 months depending on how hardcore they were job hunting.
Someone says, don't quit, go on vacation.
If they schedule you, don't let go, let them fire you.
They collect unemployment.
True, I actually didn't think about the whole severance unemployment part of it.
If you can get benefits by getting fired instead of quitting, then that could also be an angle that you could go with.
But in general, if this is just a summer job before college, I don't think it's worth abdicating the vacation.
Okay, so this thread asks, what's the fastest you've seen someone quit and why?
Okay.
while working at an amazon warehouse first day orientation we started on thursday told we'd be getting paid fridays someone asked if that meant we were getting paid tomorrow for our first day the trainer said no and that person immediately got up and left without saying another word okay that might be a little bit too abrupt and a little bit impulsive same day at amazon expecting mother throws up while taking a tour of a warehouse and never came back
Okay, that's kind of rough.

No joke.
Multiple times over the years, I've heard her say she is starting a job and then first day she just quits.
She's really unreliable.
