People ask me about how to get started in journalism.
I got started in journalism in the 1980s.
I don't know anything about what it means to start in journalism now, right?
I've just, it's a completely different landscape.
And I think the same is true in all manner of professions.
It's just not, you need someone who has experienced what you're about to experience.
we've gotten carried away with what we perceive to be the reputational importance of attending a particular institution.
And the key variable in the quality of your college education is you, it's not the college.
So if I took the top
100 colleges in the United States, like if I take a top 150, we take the top 100.
For an undergraduate degree, there are the quality of the resources, faculty resources available to students are roughly equivalent.
