Will the Denver Broncos draft strategy change after they added a veteran cornerback into the mix earlier this week, just a few days before the NFL draft begins?
That's the question we're going to ask here today.
Obviously, a couple of weeks ago, we did an episode of the show.
Veteran cornerback Levi Wallace, who played for the Buffalo Bills, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He was set to visit the Denver Broncos, went through that.
And Denver was kind of playing the wait and see approach.
And we're all waiting to hear like, OK, hey, he visited.
We didn't hear anything of it.
What's going on there?
Well, they agreed to terms on Monday morning, and now he is a veteran cornerback addition that's been added into the mix here for the Broncos.
Obviously played a little bit of a higher role there for the Pittsburgh Steelers defense, which is one of the best defensive units in all the NFL last season.
However, last year, Sarah,
Wallace did struggle a little bit, gave up 45 catches on 70 targets.
According to pro football reference, allowed six touchdowns through the air.
I think a lot of fans are looking at this move right now and they're saying, well, he wasn't very good last year.
Why did Denver sign him?
