We're going to have heavy, wet snow.
And when we say heavy, wet, that's the liquid content in this snowfall.
And yeah, it's going to create some hazardous conditions, both as far as infrastructure goes, trees, power lines.
You could see even where you get two feet of snow on poorly constructed buildings could potentially cause some issues there.
National Weather Service meteorologist Cody Snell said during a briefing Sunday that there could be at least 18 inches to 2 feet of snow up through Massachusetts.
Emergencies have been declared in multiple states, including Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
A travel ban has also been issued in New York City.
All bridges, highways, and streets in the city will be closed to traffic through noon Monday.
Officials are warning those in a storm's path to stay inside.
That's where we're going to see the major impacts from snowfall with this system.
That includes heavy snowfall rates, which is going to reduce visibility and accumulate on roads very quickly.
There was some structural damage and eight homes destroyed, in fact.
some garages, roofs blown off.
So definitely impacts associated with those strong winds associated with the tornado.
