Now, we weren't able to figure out why he had specifically asked for Deanna before he shot and killed her, or how he even knew her name in the first place. But the Freeman family was convinced that he had been set up by the Craig County Sheriff's Department, especially because Deanna had done that interview with that TV show shortly before. But of course, there was no evidence of this.
