So then you go and play it live.

So there has to be something else that happens and so the crucial thing in doing it is, in fact, the audience because, you know, you could just kind of play it yourself, the thing that's missing, so you have a live audience there.

But the idea is that, to me anyway, you...

You're creating a circle.

You're creating a circle of energy.

So you put it out.

You put it out there and it comes back and you can feel it.

If it's working, you can feel this.

It's an unbroken link.

It's an energy.

And then sometimes you just, it's almost like you go, okay, this is, you're trying to corral that energy.

You have it.

And sometimes, you know, you're trying to create a corral of energy.

It's not an inhibiting thing, but it's just that you have to direct it.

You have to take it somewhere.

So it's like you have to create this situation where the audience is prepared to go on this journey with you, you know, and you take them and they're willing participants, you know.

And so then...

Unexpected things happen, but because you already have this roadmap, you can go off in different directions, but you can always come back to this main road, if you like.

And you have these beautiful kind of experiences, beautiful performances, beautiful nights where you really, really have done your job and people walk out of there feeling better than when they walked in.

And that's why, you know, with alcohol, it's difficult to corral the energy because people, you can't reason with people who are drunk.
